I have now come to the end of my time in Panama. Exams are over and I am now packing. The plan is that I return next year when I will be teaching two courses and two seminars. The Archbishop of Panama has also asked me to do some work with groups of priests and laity in the diocese - what that will involve has yet to become clear.
It has certainly been a very interesting time - very demanding but also very enjoyable. Yesterday was my birthday and the seminarians took advantage of the date to have a sort of farewell which was really lovely. Later today I am going to a lake area with the formation team where we will spend a few hours together just relaxing - then it's back to the packing for my flight on Sunday. I'm due in to Dublin on Monday evening so hopefully all will go smoothly.
I hope you have enjoyed this blog - next year I will resurrect it.
